The Sky Is Over is a song about consumer culture, how we have to much and take for granted what he already have, such as the beauty of the world and the sky etc. the awesome things nature has given us. you get the idea, its been awhile sense i heard We Are One so im not sure what its about.

yeah thats true,RATM's political messages are more encrypted underneath a bunch of other mindless drivel, but its there. serj just says what he means point blank, and i kinda like that, the downside is that because of his songs being so up front he doesn't get much radio play(least not where i live) Empty walls is the only song i heard from his solo album played on air.

I agree, dont get me wrong tho, i love me some Soad, but theres only so many political, anarchy, stereotypical, etc based songs i can take before im burned out, there like rage against the machine, they both have some kickass songs but at least chill on the politics for an album or two lol.
